Second Annual Estado 29 Fundraiser
Dozens of friends of Orphanage Estado 29 came to the Landmark Steakhouse in Corona del Mar to support this ministry, enjoying appetizers and beverages while bidding in the silent auction on items ranging from local spa day packages to Angels baseball tickets.
The fundraiser, sponsored by Steps Of Hope Outreach and organized by Debbi Bodewin and Margot Leonard, raised nearly $12,000 dollars to help support the needs of the orphanage, from such basic necessities as food and clothing to other things like utilities and educational expenses.
Estado 29 is a large orphanage near Ensenada in Baja California that takes kids from across northern baja region. They receive food, shelter, clothing, education and a loving environment to live in.

Volunteers are needed for that night. Please contact us with any questions, ideas or things you may be able to help with.
